By installing or using Gym Guard AI ("the app") you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
What Gym Guard AI does
Gym Guard AI helps you keep an honest workout log by verifying gym visits with a live photo. If you enable App Blocking, the app uses Apple Screen Time APIs to block only the apps, categories, or websites you select until a gym photo is verified or an emergency override is used. Verification uses an AI model; it is not perfect and may sometimes incorrectly approve or reject a photo.
App Blocking and emergency overrides
- App Blocking is optional and requires Apple's Screen Time / Family Controls permission.
- Gym Guard AI itself remains accessible so you can verify, manage settings, restore purchases, contact support, or use an emergency override.
- You receive three emergency overrides. An override can unlock selected apps for the rest of the day without logging a gym visit, or allow you to change your blocked app list.
- Disabling App Blocking from settings stops future blocking. Payment or entitlement problems must not prevent you from recovering access to selected apps.
Verification and availability
- Verification depends on network connectivity and third-party services. The app may be temporarily unavailable or may fail to verify a visit.
- Screen Time enforcement depends on Apple system services and device settings. Blocking may not occur at the exact expected moment if system permissions are revoked, Screen Time is unavailable, or iOS delays extension execution.
- You are responsible for taking honest, real-time gym photos. Printed images, screenshots, or spoofed inputs may fail verification.
Optional progress estimates
During onboarding, you may choose to submit a clothed progress photo and quiz answers for an AI-generated progress window. This estimate is motivational, non-medical, and not a guarantee of physical results. Results depend on training, nutrition, sleep, health factors, and consistency.
Subscriptions
Gym Guard AI Premium is offered as an auto-renewable subscription billed through your Apple ID. Payment is charged by Apple at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in App Store account settings.
Acceptable use
- You will not attempt to spoof gym verification (photos of screens, printed images, etc.). Doing so may cause the app to fail.
- You will not use the app for any unlawful purpose.
Disclaimer
Gym Guard AI is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. We are not responsible for missed workouts, rejected verifications, or any other consequence of using the app. Use it as a motivational tool, not as a safety-critical system.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the previous twelve months.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
